College Station is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and College Station follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. My girlfriend loves plants, especially succulents and native Texas plants. It was amazing to find a nursery so close to us with such a large variety. I messaged the number on the website page and asked if they would be open the day and time I was wanting to take my girlfriend for her birthday. The owner Jon said that was a little bit out of the normal business hours but said he would show up and open up the nursery for us! πŸ™Œ He opened the nursery up for us and was so knowledgeable about every type of plant he has in his nursery. We ended up buying a lot of plants and we loved every second of the experience. Jon told us all about every single plant we bought, down to how to take care of the plants to keep them alive and flourishing. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend for anyone that loves plants and wants a great experience with a very knowledgeable and passionate owner. There's also a bonus at this nursery, the owner Jon, makes metal sculptures and has so many nice art pieces on the property. My favorite were the many gnomes he has created. Definitely a lot look at while buying plants.

Jonathan is super friendly and is very passionate answering questions and showing around his selection, which is huge. Many rare and unique plants in all shapes and sizes. Also many cool art projects in progress or on display. Easily the most fun and interesting shop I've been to. Will definitely be going back for more.

I love it here! The owner Johnathan is the friendliest guy I’ve met and it’s obvious that he really cares about his work. I looked all over college station/Bryan for a baby cactus and this place didn’t disappoint. The wide range of selection of plants is unmatchable along with a selection of pots for your choosing. I highly recommend it here and I will definitely be back for more!

I've been buying plants from these folks for years now and I love this place! If you're looking to spice up your garden with unique art from local Texan artists, expand your succulent collection, or do some fancy landscaping; you've gotta check out SVN. They've got tons of exotic plants and several Texas natives! Stuff you're not going to see in a Lowe's or home Depot. The owners are super friendly family folk. Check em out, you'll be glad you did!
